Start with the evidence you have.

A serial, one catalogue clue or four bag views can each move the search forward.

  1. Compare the whole bag

Add up to four views. The app compares shape, hardware, construction and Creed details against documented catalogue facts.

  2. Read the Creed with the camera

Frame the serial patch. The photo is sent over an encrypted connection and read by Google Gemini. Kovus does not store or retain it; Google handles the request under its own Gemini API terms. Offline, your iPhone reads it.

  3. Search the archive

Browse 629 documented styles by number, name or category without using an identification.

From photographs to a shortlist.

  1. Add the clearest evidence

Use the Creed patch, a straight-on bag view, the gussets and the closure.

  2. Compare visible details

The app checks the photographs against dimensions, production years and documented construction.

  3. Inspect the shortlist

Review the likely matches, source support and limits before deciding what the evidence means.

See what the app actually shows.

One plan unlocks the app.

Every Collector plan carries unlimited Creed scans and an allowance of whole-bag comparisons.

Unlimited Creed scans, catalogue search, comparisons, wishlist and the private collection.

Collector Annual

50 whole-bag identifications a year, starting with a 7-day free trial where the App Store offers one.

Privacy by design

Photos move only when you confirm.

Creed photographs are confirmed once

The app names Google Gemini before the first send. Each photo is encrypted in transit. Kovus does not store or retain it; Google handles the request under its own Gemini API terms.

Whole-bag transfer needs confirmation

The app names the possible providers before any whole-bag photograph leaves the device.

Processing is disclosed

Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude may process confirmed whole-bag photographs.

The collector ledger is local

Collection photographs, notes and identification history remain in local app storage.

Evidence has limits.

The app helps you inspect a bag. It does not make the final judgement for you.

Not authentication and not proof that a bag is genuine.

Not an appraisal or estimate of resale value.

No guarantee of age, condition or production history.

Independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Coach.

Common questions

Does the app authenticate a Coach bag?

No. It compares visible details with documented catalogue facts. The result is a research aid, not authentication, appraisal or proof of age, condition or value.

Do I need a subscription?

Yes. A Collector plan unlocks the app, and a new install has no free path. Annual includes 50 whole-bag identifications a year and carries the App Store introductory free trial where it is offered. Weekly includes 2 each week, with no trial. Both include unlimited Creed scans, catalogue search, comparisons, the wishlist and your local collection.

Why are the website and app different?

The website is a quick manual decoder and guide library. The iPhone app adds camera reading, catalogue search, whole-bag comparison and private collector tools.

What happens to my photographs?

The Creed photo is sent over an encrypted connection and read by Google Gemini. Kovus does not store or retain it; Google handles the request under its own Gemini API terms. The app names Gemini before the first send, and if you decline or your iPhone is offline the stamp is read on the iPhone instead. Whole-bag photographs leave the device only after you confirm the transfer and see which providers may process them.
