Use a standalone style number
On 1994-onward letter-led serials, the style number is the 3-, 4- or 5-digit group after the dash. Search that group by itself, include a leading #, or paste the full serial. For example, K8P-9870 searches style 9870. A pasted serial is compared only when its encoded year is read and sources agree on it. A single 0, which guides read as 2000 or as 2004 or later, is not, though the style number can still be searched by itself. A few 2005 and 2006 style numbers include a letter, such as 8K52.
Catalogue scope
1981-2010 coverage
The index holds 1,237 documented styles. 643 come from catalogue material covering 1981-1999. The other 594 come from the 2000-2010 Coach catalogues reviewed so far. Those do not yet include every catalogue or style from those years, so a later style number may not match. For these records the years shown are the years a style appears in those catalogues, not production years. A source count is the number of supporting catalogue or extraction records behind an entry. It is not an authenticity score, ranking or confidence percentage.
